A-net, the local broadband network in Arjeplog for cartest industry.

The Broadband network, A-net, for cartest industry in Arjeplog is taken into use.


A-net is the Arjeplog municipality local broadband network. A-net consists of a Fiberoptical network structure from Slagnas via Arjeplog to Laisvall. There is also a local network structure that connects to all the current cartesting facilities and most of the local business in the municipality. Connections to national network systems are provided in Slagnas and Arjeplog. Connection to Arvidsjaur is built during spring 2004, to be operational at the end of 2004.
Most customers and all cartest companies within the network are connected via optical fibre.

Services provided:
Permanent Internet access
One public IP adress.
5 E-mail adresses; your.name@arjeplog.com
25 MB space for your own homepage and Webmail.
The Point of delivery to companies is in a ODF (SC/APC contacts).
Standard service is 0,5 Mb unspecified Internet capacity.

Speed
The speed towards the city network is 10Mb
We can not guarantee a specific speed against the Internet because it is affected by the number of clients surfing simultaneously and how they are using the Internet.
A service for dedicated Internet capacity is available at special rates and will be quoted upon request.

Customer support:
Support can be requested 24 hrs on +46 911-232332,
Technical service will be carried out Monday -Friday 07.00-16.00. Agreements on different SLA (Service Level Agreement) can be made.

Security:
It is the responsibility of each customer to protect their computers and networks against external intrusion and abuse.
Prices
Connection via Fibre: Connection fee = 3000 SEK exc. VAT, Monthly fee 500 SEK exc. VAT.

Ordering:
Orders can be placed via our project manager Mr Jens Bergman. When your order has been recognizied and agreement has been signed, username and password will be sent to you.
Agreements will be valid one year.

Additional services:
Darkfibre rental and VLAN services will be quoted upon request
We can also provide extra IP addresses at additional fees..
